i made a post before but it’s not getting traction anymore cuz it has over 500 notes.
i was born with a heart condition that i’ve been treating my whole life. i’ve had multiple trips to the hospital, but none of them have been as chaotic as this one. on january 3rd, i had open heart surgery. before the surgery, we were asked to pay for a previous surgery i had back in october. our plan was to pay half ($1650) when my mom got paid (wednesday, january 16th), and pay the rest every week after that in $200 increments. however, as you can see, they didn’t do that.
on january 4th, they took $1300+ out of my dad’s account. not only was this not the date written, it’s not even the correct amount. basically, the hospital fucked us over and refuses to take responsibility. they said they’ve sent a check to us by mail, but it’s been 9 days and we’ve seen nothing. they also refuse to stop taking money out. tomorrow they’re taking the $1650 we discussed and will not stop the payments.
long story short, we’re screwed. mom has been borrowing money from me and owes me almost $150 and still needs more. i can’t work until mid-feb due to the surgery, mom is disabled, dad’s the only one who works. please help us.

weird and horrible how as soon as a girl turns 18 she loses any protection from being taken advantage of… 17 and a half is a child but just turned 18 is fair game for male sexual predators
the fact that men think an 18 year old girl has all the wisdom and capabilities of an adult woman is bad, but it’s particularly barf-worthy to realize that they don’t actually think 18 is the line between a girl and a woman. it’s only the law that says that. men think a girl is ready to become a woman and do things women do as soon as she “looks” like a woman or begins to imitate women. male sexuality is inherently wack and we are failing girls by exposing them to it.
